Texas Pipe And Supply Company in Houston, TX is seeking an Experienced Maintenance - Grounds Supervisor to oversee daily grounds upkeep, landscaping, and exterior appearance of our facilities. You will supervise grounds staff, ensure equipment is serviced, and coordinate schedules to maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years in groundskeeping experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Knowledge of landscaping equipment.
Ability to safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment.
Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the roadways throughout the facility clean of debris; operating machinery that includes bobcats, backhoes, and forklifts.
Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
Observe necessary safety precautions
Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed
Responsible for mowing grass on property as well as using a weed eater.
