Addison Group is seeking a Color Engineer in the United States to support color formulation, process improvements, and color consistency across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes manufacturing execution, troubleshooting, and standardizing color processes across sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with color formulation, pigments, spectrophotometers, and color measurement technologies, with a background in manufacturing or process engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• Experience with color formulation and control in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pigments, dispersions, color chemistry, and measurement.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of processes to improve product consistency.
• Familiarity with color measurement equipment and spectrophotometers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize color formulations for manufactured products.
• Establish and standardize color control processes across facilities.
• Troubleshoot color variation and production-related quality issues.
• Work with pigments, dispersions, iron oxides, and related raw materials.
• Use spectrophotometers and color measurement tech to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams on improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve formulation efficiency and performance.
• Support color standardization initiatives across sites.
