Job summary

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least eight (8) years cemetery maintenance experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two (2) years supervising and managing staff.
• Environmental regulatory compliance experience.
• New Construction / capital expenditure developmental experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple cemeteries.
• Establish and communicate work, quality, and safety expectations ensuring cemetery services exceed customer expectations.
• Coordinate staff work and time-off schedules ensuring appropriate coverage and minimizing overtime.
• Manage grounds keeping, landscaping, and seasonal plantings to present a manicured appearance.
• Collaborate with the home office on capital expenditure projects and develop operating budgets.
