You will build and direct a high-performing team, manage budgets, and coordinate with the home office on capital projects.

Ideal candidates bring extensive cemetery maintenance and staff supervision experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record in capital expenditures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least eight years cemetery maintenance experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two years supervising and managing staff.
• Environmental regulatory compliance experience.
• New Construction/capital expenditure experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple cemeteries; set work, quality, and safety expectations and coordinate staff schedules to minimize overtime.
• Manage grounds keeping, landscaping, and seasonal plantings; ensure regulatory compliance and foster relations with local authorities.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and support change initiatives.
• Source vendors, procure and maintain inventory; approve invoices and keep equipment in good order.
• Manage mausoleum construction; prepare budgets, select vendors, resolve issues; coordinate with home office on capital projects.
• Develop annual operating and personnel budgets and plan equipment replacement.
