Job summary

EMCOR Group in Central Florida seeks a skilled Building Engineer to lead the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across multiple site facilities. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage maintenance requests in CMMS, and coordinate with Site Managers to minimize production impact.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and technical school certification required.
• EPA Universal (Section 608) HVAC certification preferred.
• Florida Journeyman Electrician or Plumber License, Boiler Operator License or OSHA 10/30 cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Manage reactive on-demand work orders and document in CMMS.
• Conduct regular facility walks to identify issues and create proactive work orders.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure standards compliance.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks with minimal production impact.
• Assist in procuring materials and closing out work orders.
