Job summary

The Judge Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple food processing facilities. This hands-on, multi-site leadership role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, maintaining facility infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of maintenance leadership in bakery/food manufacturing, hands-on equipment experience (sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, ovens), and strong CI/safety

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in bakery or food manufacturing.
• Hands-on technical expertise with bakery processing equipment (sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, conveyors).
• Strong knowledge of reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR) and CI methods.
• Proven track record in reducing downtime and improving OEE.
• Experience with CMMS and data analysis tools; safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities across multiple food processing facilities.
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance teams for scheduling, troubleshooting, and work orders.
• Develop and monitor preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment (sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, ovens).
• Analyze downtime trends and report performance metrics; manage CMMS records.
