Job summary

YMCA is seeking a dynamic Program Director for Afterschool/Day Camp in the Irving region. Based at the Coppell Family YMCA, you will hire, train, lead, and coach part-time staff to ensure high-quality program delivery that meets safety and licensing standards.

You will oversee 6-8 afterschool sites and 1-2 day camps, build partnerships, and provide excellent customer service to school hosts, families, and the community while modeling YMCA values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in supervision and management.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in multi-unit childcare management.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and travel to required destinations.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, lead, and coach part-time staff across multiple sites to deliver quality programs.
• Ensure sites meet licensing requirements, safety standards, and YMCA values.
• Build relationships with school hosts, families, and community partners; manage daily operations (6-8 sites; 1-2 day camps).
