Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Multi‑Site Childcare Director to oversee after‑school programs at two Vermont locations. This hybrid leadership and hands‑on role supports Site Directors, staff, and students while upholding staffing ratios and high‑quality programming.

You will drive regulatory compliance, enrollment health, and smooth daily operations across sites, with employer‑paid childcare benefits and a strong focus on staff development and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must have ONE of the listed Vermont credentials or experiences (e.g., VT Program Director Credential, VT Afterschool Credential, VT Teacher Licensure, etc.).
• Experience in supervising, training, and mentoring staff to implement high‑quality programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee after school programs across two Vermont locations.
• Support Site Directors and staff while regularly engaging with children to maintain staffing ratios.
• Ensure high-quality programming and regulatory compliance (VT DCF).
• Maintain licensing readiness and required documentation.
• Manage staffing schedules and payroll costs with attention to safety and ratios.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance trends, and program demand.
• Build and maintain relationships with school administrators and families.
