Job summary

Vandor Corporation is seeking a Multi Shot Operator to manage multiple presses under designated conditions. You will perform basic mold press operations, label containers, inspect products, and report defects to supervision.

This full-time role on the 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm) offers benefits after 60 days, a weekly attendance bonus, and opportunities to work in a team and individual settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year manufacturing related experience.
• Ability to followed demonstrated directions.
• Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read written instructions, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools.
• Work overtime as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mold press operations.
• Properly label all containers with product information.
• Inspect products for conformance to specifications.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Clean totes for product storage and shipping.
• Completes records according to quality standards.
• Perform all duties in support of Vandor’s quality and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About this position

Description: The Multi Shot Operator manages multiple presses under designated conditions after others complete press set-up. Work includes cycling the machine, removing scrap material from the parts, checking molded parts by gaging and visual inspection. Refers all deficiencies to Supervisors or to Quality. Team Members work in both individual and team settings.

1st shift

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Should be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
