Job summary

Vandor Corporation in Valparaiso, Indiana, is seeking a production team leader for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am, Monday–Friday). The role focuses on organizing and allocating staff to meet production demand while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will stop production to correct quality issues, troubleshoot to meet standards, and ensure materials and forklift operations are properly managed. Strong teamwork and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Direct experience in production preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

About this position

Description:

• Maintain an effective and efficient workforce by organizing and allocating team members based on production demands.


• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly workplace in compliance with all Vandor regulations including applicable local, state and federal laws. Ensure that all team members are working safely.


• Ensures conformity to production requirements with the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.


• Troubleshooting to ensure quality standards are met during production of molded parts.


• Ensure all materials are maintained for production.


• Operate Forklift safely.


• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

3rd shift

11:00pm-7:30am

Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Must have trouble shooting capabilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma with additional relevant formal education or equivalent experience is required. Direct experience in production is preferred. At least three to five years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs.
