Job summary

Moldtech is seeking a Production Associate Level 1 to safely operate and manage machines in the parts production process. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

You will perform routine machine setup, monitor quality, maintain logs, and keep a clean, safe work area while supporting cross-training and process improvements. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with little supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
• Recognizes mold or machine issues and knows when to escalate.
• Understanding of different rubber types and basic curing properties.
• Confident using hand tools, presses, calipers and gauges.
• Communicates issues to supervisors and coworkers.
• May assist in orienting or mentoring new employees on basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage machines used in mold part production.
• Produce required quantity within specifications and tolerances.
• Measure parts with precision tools to ensure quality and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain logs of units produced and note errors leading to rejects.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform basic adjustments and maintenance.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Production Associate Level 1 safely operates and manages different machines and equipment used in Moldtech’s parts production process. This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Comfortable with hand tools, presses, or basic machinery. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
2. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
3. Measures completed parts using precision tools to ensure they meet functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
4. Maintains logs and records of units produced, which includes a record of errors that lead to rejected or discarded pieces.
5. Inspects equipment before use to ensure correct setup and alignment; performs basic routine adjustments and maintenance tasks.
6. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
