Job summary

American Ordnance in Middletown, IA is seeking a Production Operator to help maintain flow of production and meet quality standards. The role is onsite, full-time, with base pay of $25.14/hr plus $1/hr shift differential.

Responsibilities include assembling inert and explosive components, moving materials, inspecting quality, packing and loading, and adhering to safety protocols. Candidates must pass background checks and medical tests; a forklift license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble inert and explosive components into rounds or subassemblies meeting safety and quality guidelines.
• Move materials and products between storage, workstations and processing stations.
• Apply quality control protocols and visually inspect for defects.
• Stencil, pack and load items into transportation vehicles; maintain records.
• Participate in training and follow safety, health and environmental protocols.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes aligned with customer requirements.
