Job summary

IPC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indiana to keep our production lines safe and efficient. This hands-on role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance across all three shifts.

You will diagnose issues, repair parts, install motors, and perform preventive maintenance to support uptime and safety. The position requires strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and a willingness to work various shifts.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Familiar with manufacturing safety practices.
Ability to use hand tools and specialized maintenance tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management.
Willing to work assigned shifts and support operational needs.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as needed.
Install electric motors and perform basic VFD programming.
Troubleshoot control circuits and production equipment.
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machines and facility equipment.
Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production.
Track spare parts usage and assist with inventory management.
Work within established schedules and production requirements.
Perform other duties to support plant operations.
