Job summary

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a dedicated Leasing Specialist Floater to support multiple properties across Albuquerque, NM. You will travel between properties, lease units, and renew existing leases, with a focus on maximizing occupancy and delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires a 40-hour week with Saturday work, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and a signing bonus of $500. Great opportunity for career progression within our growing community portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in service/sales related industry.
• Effective and professional communication with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Self-motivated, positive personality, and sales oriented.
• Professional, neat, well-groomed appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments.
• Convert telephone traffic to appointments.
• Tour community with prospective residents.
• Send thank-you notes to prospects.
• Pre-qualify applicants.
• Review pending applications for approval.
• Notify applicants of status.
• Move-in new residents.
• Review lease paperwork for accuracy.
• Accept payments as directed by assistant manager.
• Complete all lease paperwork including credit checks.
• Deliver move-in gifts and show units before move-in.
• Issue keys to new residents.
• Renew current leases.
• Notify residents of lease expirations and set new terms.
• Move-out residents and complete papers.
• Retrieve keys and passes after move-out.
• Assist residents with concerns to maintain positive relations.
• Attend resident functions as directed.
• Open/close the office, filing, phones, and weekly reports.
