Job summary

Commonwealth Lodging Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support hotel facilities. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, coordinating with engineering and front office, and assisting skilled trades to ensure guest areas and back-of-house spaces are safe and well-maintained.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in maintenance, familiarity with hotel systems, and basic computer skills. The role requires physical effort and strict adherence to safety rules in a hotel

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED, or work equivalent.
• Computer skills required; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience with hotel systems is preferred.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper uniform and nametag; uphold guest relations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist trades in repairs (electrician, carpenter, plumber, painter).
• Read work orders and nightly reports; review priorities and safety concerns.
• Use tools and equipment safely; follow OSHA regulations and hotel policies.
