Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee a 4-6 office portfolio, driving a consistent, high-quality client experience. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategy with hands-on leadership, and ensure readiness across offices to deliver excellence.

You’ll own revenue and operations, set expectations, monitor performance, and guide teams to strong client outcomes and business results with visible leadership in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/operations with accountability for outcomes
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience
• Proven leader able to coach and develop teams
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to drive improvement.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes and tools across offices.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance data.
• Identify patterns across offices and address gaps; build bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and act to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, recruiting, onboarding for seasonal demand.
