Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent consultative client experience and strong operational execution. You will develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and achieve business results across locations.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, staffing, facilities, and compliance to keep offices prepared for peak seasons and daily demand, traveling between sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience delivering consultative client experience and driving business results across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations, using insights to improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and real-time feedback to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results, acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Own office readiness, facilities, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
