Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Multi Modality US Tech PRN to perform MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and X-ray exams. You will position patients, start IVs for contrast and ensure high-quality images while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires RDMS and RVT certifications, BLS within 30 days, and a High School diploma or GED. This PRN position offers exposure to multiple imaging modalities at a renowned hospital in Dallas area.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS certification is required.
• RVT certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI, mammography, CT, ultrasound and X-ray procedures per protocol.
• Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Start IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Ensure image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide proper post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Maintain aseptic technique and clean/sterilize equipment between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Multi-Modality Technician performs MRI procedures, mammographic procedures, CT examinations, Ultrasound examinations, X-ray examinations, according to protocol, used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients.

• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.

• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.

• You will release the patient with proper post-procedure instructions.

• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.

• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Required

• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician

• High School Graduate / GED
