Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to join our radiology team in Wisconsin. The role supports CT, Mammography, bone density, and digital X-ray imaging, with on-site work and on-call responsibilities.

ARRT registration and Wisconsin radiography licensure are required, with CT certification expected within 18 months of hire. The successful candidate will work under radiologists and providers, ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and adherence to radiation

Qualifications

  • ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with Wisconsin license required.
  • ARRT CT, Mammography or Bone Density certification within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire.
  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures as directed by radiologist.
  • Operate imaging equipment and follow prescribed protocols and radiation protection measures.
  • Provide compassionate interactions with patients, visitors, and staff; assist in patient care areas as needed.
  • Maintain organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives.

Role

The team is looking for a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist. Willing to train for CT Technologist.

Schedule

4 pm - 10:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. On-Call weeknight (10:30 pm - 7:00 am), weekends and holidays (24 hours/day) to support on‑site staff. Rotation with other technologists, typically one weeknight and every fourth weekend; this can vary.

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.

Experience

One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

Education

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

Licensure

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.

Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer is required. CT will be required for this position.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
