Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking CT Technologists and Radiologic Technologists. The team may train for CT; schedule is 2nd shift, Mondays, Thursdays, and every other Friday 12:30p-9:00p. FTE is 0.5. A strong focus on patient imaging and safety, with opportunities for growth within the radiology department.

Role requires ARRT radiography certification, Wisconsin license, and BLS within 90 days. Bonus up to $5k is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures under supervision.
• Operate imaging equipment following guidelines and protocols with proper radiation protection.
• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff while providing quality customer service.
• Maintain compliance with departmental procedures and quality standards.

The team is looking for a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist. Willing to train for CT Technologist.
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and every other Friday 12:30p to 9:00p (2nd shift)

Job Summary: At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
