Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT training to join the radiology team in Wisconsin. The role involves preparing patients and performing imaging procedures under a radiologist, using X-ray and CT equipment, and ensuring radiation safety.

Requires ARRT registration and Wisconsin licensure, with ARRT CT/Mammography/Bone Density credentials within 18 months of hire. The position is part-time (FTE 0.1) with a competitive benefits package and a bonus potential up to $2,500.

Qualifications

• ARRT‑registered radiologic technologist with Wisconsin license required.
• Post high school ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• CT, Mammography, or Bone Density certification preferred; 18‑month ARRT registration after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures per radiologist directives.
• Operate imaging equipment and follow prescribed protocols with radiation safety measures.
• Adhere to organizational customer service standards and assist in patient care as needed.

Schedule

At least 3 shifts per month required. No call unless voluntary.

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.

Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer is required.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
