Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures, adhere to radiation safety, and support patient care under supervision. The role includes training for CT and requires ARRT certification and Wisconsin licensure, with BLS credentials within 90 days of hire.

The position is based in Wisconsin, with a .8 FTE schedule and opportunities for professional growth through the Froedtert Health network, including academic partnerships and career pathways.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current clinical experience in each modality (CT and Diagnostic X-ray).
• High School degree or equivalent; ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• An additional 1-2 years of college coursework and/or healthcare-related degree preferred.
• ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin radiographer license required.
• ARRT CT certification within 18 months required.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures (CT and X-ray) under radiologist/surgeon guidance.
• Operate imaging equipment following prescribed protocols and radiation safety measures.
• Provide compassionate patient interactions and support in patient care areas as needed.

The team is looking for a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist. Willing to train for CT Technologist.

Schedule:

Mon-Thurs 1300-2130 with rotating holidays and no weekends (subject to change).

Job Summary:

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Responsible for performing all CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Point of Care Lab Testing.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School degree or equivalent is required.

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.

Registered by the ARRT in CT within 18 months is required.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
