Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist for the upcoming Intracoastal FSED opening. The role covers Diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Density, with on-call duties as required.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of multi-modality radiology experience, ARRT registration, a JRCERT-accredited education, BLS, and Florida licensure; CT certification is preferred for some positions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a multi-disciplined radiology department.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices required.
• 1-3 years CT scan experience required in certain positions.
• CT certification preferred.
• ARRT registration with post-primary certification in at least one additional modality.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and Florida state radiography licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic exams across all registered modalities: Diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density.

Overview

For upcoming opening of Intracoastal FSED in January of 2027

The multi-modality technologist will be required to perform high quality radiologic exams with a minimum of two qualifying/credentialed modalities to meet the specific needs of the departments. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to work routinely in all disciplines in which they are registered to perform exams. These include: Diagnostic X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Density. The multi-modality technologist must participate in the on call schedule where applicable.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:1-3 years Multi-Disciplined Radiology Department required1-3 years Knowledge of Radiographic procedures and practices required1 -3 years Preferred experience in breast imaging preferred1 -3 years CT scan experience - required in certain positionspreferredEducation:Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology program, (JRCERT). Must be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and hold post primary certification in a minimum of one additional qualifying discipline in which exams will be performed in the role of Multi-Modality Technologist upon hire.
