Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a Multi-Modality Technician in Versailles, Kentucky. In this role, you will perform radiology and CT studies, ensuring compliance with patient care standards and providing education to patients. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology school with ARRT registry eligibility. Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registry by ARRT in Radiography.
• Cross-trained in CT/MRI/Mammography or registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire.
• BLS required upon completion of hospital orientation.

How you'll contribute

• Performs radiology and CT studies to assist in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for patients of all ages.
• Maintains efficient department operation while complying with JCAHO, federal, and state laws.
• Provides patient education.
• Assists in maintaining records and reports.
• Takes call as scheduled.
• Interacts professionally with patients, families, physicians, physician offices, and other departments to ensure highest quality patient care.
• Demonstrates good radiation safety practices.
• Performs radiographic and CT for all age groups.
• Familiar with screening for contrast risks, injecting contrast, and managing reactions.
• Starts exams using proper technique.
• Familiar with RIS, Teleradiology, Tele Neurology, AW Workstation, and PACS systems.
• Monitors departmental activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provides care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Follows HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Administers oral and IV contrast under direction of a radiologist.
• Work involves potential exposure to ionizing radiation.

What we’re looking for

Minimum Education

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Certifications
