Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist to perform various imaging procedures, including MRI and CT scans. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care and maintain competence in at least two modalities. The role requires BLS Certification and 1-2 years of clinical experience.

Applicants must have either a High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology. This position offers the opportunity to support different modalities on a routine basis.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed in a minimum of two Radiology modalities.
• BLS Certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Provides patient-centered care and complies with registered technologist standards.
• Available for on-call coverage for modalities as needed.

Skills

Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices

Communicates exams/procedures to patients

Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot

Familiar with imaging equipment

Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
