Job summary
A healthcare organization in Jacksonville seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist with credentials in at least two modalities such as MRI, CT, or Mammography. Qualifications
Credentialed to perform at a minimum of two MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Must have 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience.
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Responsibilities
Support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis and provide on-call coverage.
Strive to provide patient-centered care and uphold practice standards.
Skills
Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
Communicates exams/procedures to patients
Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot
Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
