Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and mammography equipment and help the imaging department meet its goals. You will perform three modalities regularly and support safe, accurate examinations for diverse patients across our community.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in radiologic technology, state RT license, ARRT credentials, and CPR/BLS certification; bachelor's or master's degrees and

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred; Master's Degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• RT license in the state of practice required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must have current certification in at least one modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, NM, Sonography, PET) and be able to perform duties in another.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic, mammographic, CT, ultrasound and nuclear medicine equipment.
• Performs at least three modalities regularly and ensures image quality.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Tests defibrillator and checks crash cart integrity.
• Performs mobile imaging and assists with contrast preparation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
