Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora seeks a skilled radiology technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and mammography equipment. The role supports departmental objectives and enables imaging services to meet operational goals, with emphasis on performing at least three modalities regularly.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and state RT licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• RT license in the state of practice required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must hold ARRT modality certs (CT/MRI/MAM/PM) or equivalent.
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound equipment.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Tests defibrillator and checks crash cart integrity.
• Prepares contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Performs mobile imaging as needed and supports department goals.
