Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging across Radiography, CT, MR, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA or Ultrasound in accordance with established practices and required certifications.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, acquiring quality diagnostic images, maintaining PACS and EMR records, adhering to safety standards, and upholding regulatory licensure and ARRT certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Possess and maintain ARRT certification in two pathways (excluding Radiography).
• State of Kentucky license required; BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered imaging care across listed modalities.
• Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and maintain them in PACS.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation and workflow.
• Adhere to safety standards and use PPE as required.
• Maintain licensure and comply with regulatory requirements.
