Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist I – Rad Tech to perform diagnostic imaging across Radiologic and CT modalities. The role requires proficiency in two modalities for high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities include executing imaging procedures, maintaining ARRT certification and state licensure, and ensuring patient safety with BLS compliance. 2nd shift with weekend rotation is included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology is required.
• ARRT certification as Radiologic Technologist is required; state license is required.
• Level I certifications in each modality (Mammography/CT/Bone Density) required where applicable.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist I – Rad Tech role performs diagnostic imaging procedures across the Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist role. This dual-modality position requires proficiency in both modalities to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology required.
• License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required as a Radiologic Technologist, plus a Mammography Technologist, CT Technologist, or Bone Density Technologist certification required for a Level I Technologist in each modality (see specific modality Level I job descriptions). Valid applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Must meet at a minimum all Level I requirements within each of the modalities as required in each job description.

The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
