Job summary

Froedtert Health in Mequon, WI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients and perform CT, X-ray, and related imaging procedures on-site. You will operate imaging equipment, follow protocols, and ensure radiation safety while delivering patient-focused care.

The role requires ARRT registration and Wisconsin radiographer licensure, with CT registration within 18 months, plus BLS within 90 days. This is an on-site, 0.75 FTE position with weekend coverage and premium pay for holidays.

Qualifications

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: Every Friday 1500-2130, Every Saturday and Sunday 0700-1915 Holidays: holidays that land on weekends worked are expected to be covered. This is a weekend program with premium pay.

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Responsible for performing all CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Point of Care Lab Testing.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School degree or equivalent is required. Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

EDUCATION PREFERRED

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE REQUIRED

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRT in CT within 18 months is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
