Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• ARRT(R) certification.
• Current State of NJ Licensure as Radiology Technologist - Certified.
• Current State of NJ licensure as Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) within 90 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment for imaging tests, based on physicians' orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results.
• Prepares patient and performs radiology procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques with scope of practice such as CPR, vital signs, ECG, wound care, splinting, Point of Care testing, throat swab collection and emergency response.
• Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.
• Performs incidental general office duties (answering phone, scheduling, filing, maintaining patient records, ordering supplies).
• Other relevant duties as assigned
