Job summary

CCC - Corporate Coverage Company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team, supporting multiple recycling company locations. This role will manage inventory, analyze financial performance, track costs, and collaborate with Operations Managers to drive efficiency and profitability.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across sites, lead multi-location accounting operations, and identify cost-reduction opportunities through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or manufacturing/service environment.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel skills required) and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commodity inventory review and accounting management across multiple sites.
• Perform month-end closing, financial statement review, and variance analysis.
• Review weekly performance and cost trend reports for assigned locations.
• Lead multi-location, multi-state accounting operations and ensure consistency in processes.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis.
• Review weekly reporting and production reporting with managers and establish action plans
• Conduct monthly operating reviews with Operations Managers; create and follow up on actionable financial improvement plans.
• Develop and monitor budgets, perform trending analysis, and resolve financial variances.
• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
