Food Fight is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple restaurant locations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and cash activity. The role supports payroll, accounts payable, and timely financial reporting.

The position emphasizes accurate records, internal controls, and collaboration with restaurant management to ensure accurate statements and robust financial processes at Monona, WI locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive accounting experience required.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting multiple business units, entities, or locations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for assigned restaurant locations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with financial statement review and analysis.
• Ensure month-end close deadlines are met.
• Review daily sales activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable.
