Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, and support store sales goals.

You will build relationships with wholesale and retail customers, process transactions, and help ensure a positive shopping experience. The role requires 18+, legal work authorization, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have a 'meets expectations' rating.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies and procedures.
• Meet sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Follow inventory control procedures and suggest sales improvements.
