Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day HR function and support a fast-paced, multi-location workforce. This role will oversee employee relations, compliance, recruiting and onboarding, benefits, payroll, 401(k) administration, and HRIS administration.

The ideal candidate will partner with operations and leadership, manage a HR team, and drive practical HR solutions in a dynamic environment across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience leading an HR team and managing payroll.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws at federal and state levels.
• ADP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team across multiple locations.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Own HR compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Manage payroll, benefits, 401(k), and leave administration.
• Partner with Safety, Finance, and Operations on workforce needs.
• Support acquisitions and growth initiatives.
