We seek an educator to serve as a long-term (6-8 week) substitute teacher of Mult-Lingual Learners (MLLs) to cover a medical leave. This role includes teaching two very small 6th grade classes of MLLs and pushing into three general education classes to support MLLs in those classes.
The role includes delivering, and at times developing, lessons for the 6th grade class; collaborating with other teachers; and adapting instructional materials to meet the needs of MLLs.
The ideal start date for this role would be October 21st, but a candidate could begin the following week if necessary. The role will last for approximately 6 weeks.
Salary Range: In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $41,952 (step 0, Bachelor's) – $84,016 (step 20, Master's), pro-rated for the amount of time worked. If you are hired at McAuliffe, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or applicable experience. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. Please see our salary scale, available upon request, that clearly outlines where an applicant will fall within the salary range based on years of applicable experience.
