Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Cal Kiburz State Farm is seeking a Client Growth Consultant in a full-time capacity to drive new business and nurture existing client relationships. You don’t need prior insurance experience; we will train you on the products and sales process and help you obtain licensing through onboarding and coaching.
The role emphasizes proactive outreach, building a sales pipeline, and achieving individual and team goals while earning base pay plus performance-based commissions.
We're looking for someone who is driven, coachable, competitive, and great with people to join our team as a Client Growth Consultant.
You don't need insurance experience. You don't need a perfect résumé.
We can teach insurance. We can teach our sales process.
What we're looking for is harder to teach: someone who wants to grow, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, can handle hearing "no," takes ownership of their results, and wants their performance to impact their earning potential.
You'll help grow our agency by:
This is an active sales role. It requires consistent conversations, follow-up, organization, and the ability to keep moving after hearing "no.".
An insurance producer license is required to fully perform this position — but you do not need to be licensed before applying.
If you're not currently licensed, we'll help you understand the licensing process and expectations as part of your onboarding and training.
We value candidates who have already invested in their insurance education, but we're equally interested in finding high-potential people who are ready to learn and obtain their license.
This position offers base compensation plus performance-based commission opportunities.
Our compensation plan rewards well-rounded production across multiple insurance product lines. As your skills and production grow, so does your earning potential.
You may be a great fit if you:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, recruiting, athletics, or other people-focused environments can translate extremely well.
Previous insurance experience is not required.
This isn't just about learning how to quote insurance.
You'll develop skills in sales, communication, relationship building, insurance, financial protection, pipeline management, and personal performance — skills that can create opportunities throughout your career.
Your résumé doesn't have to be perfect.
Maybe you're great with people but haven't found the right career yet.
Maybe you're competitive and want a position where your effort can actually impact your income.
Maybe someone just hasn't given you the opportunity to show what you can do.
If you're willing to learn, willing to work, and want to become genuinely good at what you do, we'd like to meet you.
