Qualifications

• Degree in music or related field (or current enrollment in degree program)
• Prior teaching experience
• Ability to teach students of varying ages and skill levels (preferably age 6+)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience teaching group lessons is a plus, though not required

Responsibilities

• Teach private music lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals
• Demonstrateproper form and technique
• Guide and support students as they explore and develop as musicians
• Ensure lessons are engaging, effective, and enjoyable
• Maintain accurate student attendance records
• Prepare students for performances and recitalss
