Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking a proactive Scheduling Coordinator to lead hourly staff scheduling across multiple properties. You will publish weekly staffing plans in line with operational needs, partner with department leaders to resolve conflicts, and maintain accurate attendance records while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Aquatics operational role or on-deck coverage knowledge to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ability to manage dynamic schedules and respond to real-time staffing needs in high-traffic environments.
• Understanding of workforce compliance considerations such as shift rotations and minor labor laws.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting platforms, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scheduling process for hourly team members across multiple properties, preparing and publishing weekly staffing plans in alignment with operational needs and labor standards.
• Partner with department leaders to resolve scheduling conflicts, adjust workforce levels, and support real-time changes.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance tracking, and compliance-related documentation to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Support onboarding by coordinating training schedules and initial shift assignments.
• Present scheduling data and insights to leadership to support effective workforce planning.
• Contribute to operational efficiency through additional project coordination and administrative support as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance in alignment with company standards and operational needs.
• Embrace flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
