Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Systems Director of Dining Services to provide strategic leadership across food service operations within a healthcare system in Florence, SC.

The role requires overseeing patient care, retail, and hospital-wide dining activities across multiple sites, managing budgets, driving quality, sanitation, and program delivery, and leading a team of directors with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree with seven years of related experience.
• Seven or more years of hospital or adult care food service experience preferred.
• Experience managing multi-unit acute care hospital foodservice operations desirable.
• Nine+ years of direct foodservice operations management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, cost controls, and presentation.
• Experience with P&L accountability or contract-managed service is desirable.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; ability to communicate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction and cost-effective management across all sites.
• Manage all foodservice activities including patient care and retail/cafeteria.
• Oversee systems to meet strategic and operational objectives for the client system.
• Visit patient units to ensure management presence during hospital stays.
• Lead a system-wide team of Directors and manage the budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
