Job summary

DBC Real Estate Management seeks a dynamic Property Manager to oversee assigned property operations, maximize asset value, and improve resident satisfaction and revenue. You will manage leasing, maintenance, staff, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with safety and occupancy rules.

You will lead a team, monitor budgets and financial performance, and implement marketing strategies to promote services and occupancy goals for multi-family properties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Ability: Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems with limited standardization; follow written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.
• Software Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS)
• Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise up to and over 10 employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage all property operations, including department activities.
• Monitor daily and monthly revenue, cost, and expenses.
• Review budgets and financial reports.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for the property.
• Plan maintenance, events, and unit leasing.
• Coordinate staff duties and promote teamwork.
• Inspect units to comply with property standards and safety.
• Maintain resident relations and timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends.
