Carter Lumber Installed Sales is seeking a Construction Project Manager for multi-family installed jobs in NE Ohio. You will coordinate between the office and field to ensure timely production and align with the Field Superintendent on project direction.

The role requires strong communication, plan review, and coordination of schedules, submittals, labor, and materials. This full-time position emphasizes responsible project oversight and collaboration with customers and trades.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Multi‑Family construction project management.
• Strong understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Observes all safety procedures and practices.
• Understands contracts incl. changes to build out processes and schedules.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of PlanSwift Software is a plus.
• This position will be servicing the NE Ohio areas.

Responsabilidades

• Review plans, specs, and project schedule thoroughly.
• Create a schedule of values between Carter Lumber and customer.
• Review take-off to ensure correct quantities and timing of orders.
• Send and track submittals for product approval.
• Obtain labor and execute approved labor subcontract.
• Procure material and inform Field Superintendent of arrivals.
• Provide customer change orders when needed.
• Review Field Superintendent reports and weekly safety meetings.
• Track job progression and monitor budgets.
• Submit pay applications per contract documents.
• Process pay requests for subcontract labor.
• Attend jobsite meetings with customer and other trades as needed.
• Set up initial meeting with customer before scope work.
• Attend handoff meetings with sales to accept new projects.
• Review scope of work and schedule for accuracy.
