Carter Lumber Installed Sales is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Multi-Family installed jobs in Northeast Ohio. You will oversee development, implementation, and management while coordinating between the office and field to ensure timely production.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, scheduling values, submitting submittals, and monitoring budgets; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management.
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Observes all safety procedures and practices.
• Understands contracts and changes to build-out schedules.
• Analyzes and provides recommendations to solve problems.
• Gathers data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and project schedule.
• Create a mutually agreed upon schedule of values between Carter Lumber and customer.
• Review take-off to ensure correct quantities and timely delivery.
• Submit submittals for all product until approved for order.
• Obtain labor source and execute Carter Lumber approved labor sub-contract.
• Procure material and advise Field Superintendent of arrival dates.
• Provide customer change orders when necessary.
• Review Field Superintendent daily reports and weekly safety meetings.
• Track job progression and monitor project budgets.
• Submit pay applications per contract documents.
• Submit and approve pay requests on behalf of sub-contract labor.
• Attend jobsite meetings with customer and other trades as needed.
• Set up initial meeting with customer prior to performing scope.
• Attend hand off meetings with sales team to accept new projects.
• Review contract scope of work and schedule for accuracy of what is being provided and that durations for installation are acceptable.
