Job summary

Arcan Capital seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team, oversee repairs, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance across multifamily properties. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and exceptional service to residents.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with the Property Manager, and ensure timely responses to service requests while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership and training skills to mentor maintenance staff.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments with painting, repairs, cleaning, and maintenance for move-in readiness.
• Oversee interior and exterior maintenance including HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team with the Property Manager.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for landscaping, painting, asphalt work.
• Maintain privacy and deliver superior customer service at all times.
• Adhere to housing laws, fair housing regulations, and OSHA standards.
