Job summary

Arcan Capital is a rapidly growing company specializing in the acquisition and management of apartment properties across the southeastern United States. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team, oversees repairs, groundskeeping, and property upkeep, focusing on quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving, and the ability to coach and empower staff to uphold high maintenance standards while delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and maintenance.
• Oversee interior and exterior maintenance incl. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train, supervise maintenance team with the Property Manager.
• Implement preventative maintenance and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for landscaping, painting, asphalt work.
• Uphold resident privacy and deliver superior customer service.
• Adhere to housing laws, fair housing, and OSHA standards.
