Job summary

Kittle Property Group in Mishawaka, IN invites applications for a Project Engineer - Multi-Family Construction. The role supports the Project Manager on three new projects located in Hardeeville, SC, Charlotte, NC and Mishawaka, IN, coordinating site work and documentation.

You will oversee schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and safety compliance with hands-on site duties. Strong communication and Excel/ProCore experience preferred; salary starts at $60,000+ commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

College degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
Knowledge of building principles, practices, environmental regulations and project management.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; ProCore software preferred.
Ability to read and follow construction plans and diagrams.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced construction site.
Willingness to travel to multiple regional job sites.

Responsibilities

Assist at job site with direction from PM and on-site Superintendent.
Support in unloading and receiving materials as needed.
Collect material model numbers and cross reference specs.
Manage submittals and F&E logs; ensure subcontractor adherence.
Review plans to create scopes of work and execute contracts.
Maintain project document logs: RFIs, submittals, transmittals, bills of lading.
Assist in owner/architect correspondence and minutes from meetings.
Support project close-out, warranties, lien releases, punch lists.
Assist with project finances: contracts, projections, billings.
Prepare project description, timeline and status reports.
