Acrisure is seeking a Payroll Associate in Grand Rapids, MI to support accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple entities. This role ensures data integrity, handles inquiries, and maintains high-quality employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have multi-state payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and popular payroll systems. On-site collaboration and cross-functional partnership are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll, HR, accounting, or related operational experience.
• Demonstrated experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned payrolls across multiple frequencies and entities.
• Serve as primary payroll contact for designated units and partners.
• Review and validate payroll inputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform full-cycle payroll runs, off-cycle payments, and corrections.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Process recurring commissions per established plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance to resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
