Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a General Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in Dublin, VA for electro-electronic and mechanical maintenance of robotics and controls. You will perform PMs, troubleshoot issues, and support KPI-driven operations across maintenance and engineering teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, safety training, and the ability to obtain industry certifications such as AWS CWT and ABB robot programming. Some PLC work and blueprint reading are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3 years in an industrial maintenance environment
• Safety training and ability to obtain AWS AWS-CWT within 1 year
• Capable of ABB robot programming and PLC modification
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics
• Proven ability to perform PM and root-cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-electronic and mechanical maintenance on robotics, controls, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis of equipment failures
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance and emergency work orders
• Support cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets
• Modify PLC programs and adjust robotic and dispense systems as directed
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with safety procedures
