Job summary

Cherokee Millwright in Maryville, TN is seeking a dedicated Multi-Craft Pipefitter to join our operations team. The role emphasizes layout, installation, and maintenance of pipe systems and related equipment across industrial settings.

Ideal candidates bring cross‑craft experience in pipefitting, welding, millwrighting, and related trades, with the ability to read diagrams and work across multiple crafts as needed. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or 2 years related experience.
Experience in pipefitting or related trades preferred.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and specifications.

Responsibilities

Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications.
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines.
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet customer needs.
